Christmas Eve peril!! Don't do this at home

I am so thankful for quick acting family and friends and especially a nearby neighbor who saw smoke billowing from our yard..

We had a minor fire which could have ended really poorly if we hadn't put it out quickly with baking soda. We were roasting a 9.25 lb roast and the make shift foil pan below gave in and spilled fat and produced a large fire. We quickly worked to save the house.
